Ode To Evan Thomas

Giving our fair share should be a joyous mandate and the sacrifice of freewill.   Generous, joyful, and regular offerings should be motivated by our love for Obama.   We should not burden or curse Obama's poor who struggle to feed and shelter their family. Although there is no set percentage to give, all should give sacrificially or lower our standards of living in order to further the reach of Government. Fellow proletariat and lost souls now is the time to tithe!

To Hell with Taxes!    Evan Thomas, editor of Newsweek, has genuinely moved me. Taxation should be replaced with "tithing”. With the chosen one now in office “tithing needs to be the governmental standard and a new beginning point hereby established and must not be replaced or compromised by any other standard."   Furthermore, the tithe should be from gross income.

As Americans we are commanded (as only government can do) to give freely, sacrificially, generously, regularly, joyfully and with the motivation of our love for Obama.   We object not for this concept is not new to Americans. While, according to Obama, we may be the largest Muslim nation, nonetheless, most Christian folk recognize Second Corinthians, chapters 8 and 9: (1) Giving is a "grace” and our duty. (2) Give yourself to Obama first (8:5). (3) Give yourself to knowing Obama’s will (8:5). (4) Give in response to Obama’s gift. (8:9; 9:15). (5) Give out of a sincere desire (8:8, 10, 12; 9:7). (6) Do not give because of any commandment (8:8, 10; 9:7). (7) Give beyond your ability (8:3, 11-12). (8) Give to produce equality (This of course means that those who have more should give more in order to make up for the inability of those who cannot afford to give as much). (8:12-14). (9) Give joyfully (8:2). (10) Give because you believe in government. (8:3-4, 7). (11) Give because you want to continue the growth of government.

We must follow Mr. Thomas’s lead. With the chosen one in office shouldn’t the government demand the proletariat to tithe? After all, we would only spend our money foolishly. “Public Interest” should be first and foremost in our minds. As individual human beings our personal interest and happiness could only be self-serving.  We need to focus on the needs of others and ignore personal prosperity. Freedom and liberty is the enemy of the chosen one’s government. The more freedom and liberty we demand the more we choke (as weeds in a garden) government’s ability to grow.   Once was the job of Churches, civic groups, orators and writers such as myself to suggest a moral way of life. With the Chosen one now in office we have been let shed of the responsibility. Thank you Evan Thomas, I see the light.

I once foolishly believed human beings, by their very nature, tried to independently better themselves. We once called this foolish concept “progress”. Now that this nation has refined the “art of plunder” anyone and everyone can now better themselves at the expense of others.

We have accepted the “War on Progress” as a just war. General Luddite cannot be stopped. Special interest groups now flank liberty and prosperity. Von Schlieffen need not worry about Moltke’s meddling: this is going to work! Our chosen one has effectively launched a campaign to “protect the public” at all costs.

With the acqisition of the financial institutions and the march on private industry gaining momentum General Luddite (certainly destined to be a czar) will be unchallenged. His leigions of regulatory agencies accompanied by the proliferation of regulations streaming out of congress at warp speed  and arbitrary tithing effectively quell any resurgence of progress. ‘now, children, stop fighting and quarreling with each other.’ There is enough to go around. Thus Spake Zarathustra.
