United States To Have a Debtor’s Prison?

While on the campaign trail and shortly after his election Oboma reiterated his plan to create his “civilian national security force which would be just as powerful and well-funded as the U.S. Military”. He was certain his charisma would draw the lemmings and boasted his Grossdeutsche Jugendbewegung would be tens of thousands strong.

As the newly elected Mu'adib, his mission is teaching all Americans (and especially the children) of the other strata of society, the true meaning of community service.   A host of bloggers caught the significance of Obama’s wording when he mandated 100 hours of community service. That’s conscription. The general public, no matter how enamored by his charisma, will never go for (in)voluntary servitude.

When he mentioned the creation of a powerful and well funded civilian national security force it raised red flags and the diligent bloggers were rightly outraged and flooded the Internet with their objections. In response Obama’s handlers quickly revamped the wording of his official website attempting to tone down his intent: a Marxist may be he, an idiot he is not. Unfortunately the damage had been done: there were far too many screen shot's of his proclamation to contend with. The self anointed Kwisatz Haderach ordered the project shelved for safe keeping.

Beginning at day one of his new administration the Pelosie/Reid juggernaut launched their pseudo stimulus package affording Obama time to duck and cover. Moving on, the bloggers found a wealth of disinformation to interpret while the main stream media fawned over new proposals and non-partisan think tanks delved into thousands of pages of convoluted rhetoric.   Obamacare is being vigorously challenged by moderate democrats, independents and the general public as well. Cash For Clunkers was such a dismal failure that the proposed four month program ran out of funds just after four days.

Intelligent thinkers began asking a myriad of questions. “Renegade, we have a problem”. Once again the administration cranked up the “label” making machinery. Any Americans opposing his plans for reform or “change” were quickly designated as infamous "right-wing extremists”.  Remember, Janet Napolitano warned us about these extremists just a few months ago.

Oddly enough all this discourse helps shield, from further scrutiny, Obama’s true love child: a civilian national security force. That is, until now.

Recently, radio talk show host, television personality and author, Glenn Beck exhumed the buried plan to establish a youth brigade and brought it back to the light of day. Beck aired his concern while dressed in lederhosen. He only touched on the subject and suggested we (the viewers) become Constitutional Watchdogs.   Mr. Beck then signed off the topic with a sad tone in his voice with two simple words: “Edelweiss, America” - suggesting the flower of American Capitalism is beginning to wilt.

While Beck’s show is oftentimes laced with comic relief and presented in a buffoonish manner one would be hard pressed to challenge the validity and well researched suppositions and/or arguments of the issues he presents.  However, in this particular segment he left us hanging. He never explained (as he usually does) how our articulate, calibrating and persuasive president intended on sending another collection of our constitutional rights and liberties into atrophy.

Intrigued, this author decided to follow Mr. Beck’s lead and began to question how our President could possibly legally enslave Americans. Obama would need legal Authority and Power to create his mandated civilian national security force, community service, and free labor.

What I found was discouraging. During the Lincoln (one of Obama’s Heroes) administration the 39th congress usurped “power from the executive branch”. While Lincoln was busy drafting his emancipation, congress was busy setting a well camouflaged trap to enslave the people. This falls right inline with Obama’s plan to create the “change we can believe in”.   His desire is to transform a free market system to one of government dominance.

THE THIRTEENTH AMENDMENT: Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime (emphasis mine) whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Section 2. Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

It doesn’t take a legal scholar to understand the meaning of this amendment and its various applications. When you break down the 13th amendment into three segments it is not so difficult to spot the patent intent.

Clause two (except as a punishment for crime) of the 13th amendment is the “barb on the hook”. Conveniently, the word “Crime”, is not defined. “Does it refer to a Civil, Criminal, Misdemeanor, Felony or Capital Crime? Nope, just crime.

Section 2. is obviously a usurpation of the executive branch’s power.  Any Civics student in grammar school can tell you that it is the legislature that creates our laws and the executive branch which enforces our laws.

Noodle this out: A) Obama openly stated his intent on developing a youth corp. B) The number one loan often defaulted on in this country is a student loan. C) The Obama administration has seized control of a “lion’s share” of the financial entities in this country.

Now then, congress, via appropriate legislation, has the power to enforce the terms within the 13th amendment.  Defaulting on a student loan could very well be designated as a crime against the state. The Executive Branch, with its power to enforce, makes an arrest and the Judiciary mandates (upon conviction) an undetermined amount of community service as retribution: voila, an indentured servant.  Obama, controlling the financial industry could, very well extend this procedure to all loans. Car loans, mortgages, unsecured loans, credit cards, etc… etc…

It would require no more than 2 years for the United States to have a debtor’s prison. Concrete walls and steel bars, no, I doubt that, (unless you refuse to comply with the community service) but conscription is conscription.  With regards to freedom, an ankle bracelet is just as abhorrent as a 40 foot concrete wall.

So America, in the spirit of Glenn Beck; So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Adieu,

The First Ten Days

During his first week in office many of the major networks were announcing our new president’s approval rating as being 75%.   According to Leslie Marshall this is clear evidence that the American people trust and feel confident the Obama administration will pull us out of this economic crisis.

Let’s look at that 75% approval rating from another perspective.  During the actual election, exit polls also revealed 68% of his supporters had little or no clue as to the identity and/or function of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.  Could this equate to an actual approval rating of just 7% of knowledgeable voters?

Ms. Marshall proudly mentions the plaque on her desk “To Whom Much Is Given – Much is Expected”.  In today’s economic crisis that can easily be interpreted as: The More Politicians Give, The more They Entitle Themselves To Take.  Giving away 819 Billion dollars in a pseudo stimulus package is going to entitle our politicians to a treasure trove.  It is a safe bet only 7% of our president’s supporters truly understand exactly what that means.

An interesting note: According to a recent Rasmussen poll; as of January 22, 2009, of the likely voters, only 14% gave congress a good to excellent approval rating.  With a combined approval rating less than that of the departing president; in order to carry the banner of “change” for the first 100 days our president can’t afford to slip up.

To pull this off the Obama administration and Nanny [SIC] Pelosi must bank on his charisma and overwhelming popularity among the less fortunate and ill-informed worshipers.  Incapable of independent thought his followers will need to be constantly reminded of the coming change.

The first 100 days can be crucial and set the tone for the next four years.  For this ambitious, talented and charismatic chief executive early success requires progress which will lead to more progress if the masses are to be assuaged.  This will be difficult as 68% of his supporters expect personal responsibilities to disappear and entitlement programs to be introduced when this new phoenix rises from the ashes of their despair.  More importantly, they expect it “Now”.

Well versed in the are of political misdirection our president began to set his stage.  His first few days in office were covered with great fanfare and camera flashes.  Other than the excessive and out of control spending, president Obama reversed several programs and executive orders set in motion by the Bush administration.  With a stroke of his pen he made them all disappear.  In another well publicized contest; he won the battle to keep his blackberry.   The media and his supporters sang great praises as his lemmings continued their stampede.

Reality may have set in by the fourth day.   Bipartisan support for his 1.2 trillion dollar stimulus package wasn’t jelling.  Smoke and mirrors can accomplish just so much: he needed to go on the offensive.  Hopefully he could “shame” some republicans into joining the ranks.  An attack on Limbaugh and Hannity was launched.  Many of the pundits viewed his attack on Rush as an attempt to cull and herd republicans into his corral.  It failed.

I’m surprised Rush, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter and the High Priest of the Church of the Painful Truth may have missed the true target: “public discussion must be suspended between the promulgation of the decision and the accomplishment of the task” as noted in Soviet Communism: A new civilization? (1935).

With a new progressive hand at the helm there are genuine concerns with current proposed legislation.  On a national level it is looking progressively worse for every citizen.   The PRO (Pelosi, Reid and Obama) Triumvirate is basking in the Washington limelight with little or no challenge by the media.  Invoking the power of the federal government a redistribution of wealth needs to be ushered in to create a “change we can believe in”.  As the Dow plunged from an all-time high exceeding 14,000 in October 2007 to about 8,000 many nest eggs had gone bust.  For many, re-evaluating lifestyles was the bill of the day, so the promise of “change” was accepted.

Fear Not, we are heading for change we can believe in.  "What is required of us now is a new era of responsibility," Obama said, "a recognition, on the part of every American, that we have duties to ourselves, our nation and the world, duties that we do not grudgingly accept but rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there is nothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character, than giving our all to a difficult task."

It appears the PRO Triumvirate is, quite frankly, a juggernaut designed to focus on one side of the government ledger.  If left unchecked the D.C. Troika can only leave the governed with the last remaining vestige of freedom as being nothing more than begging to become a welfare recipient.

We, as Americans, understand the concept of, “ask not what your country can do for you…”  We only ask: “what more does our Country ask of us?”  One point 2 trillion dollars is a conservative estimate in dollars and cents for the projected “fix”.  If Stalin’s control of the lower proletariat is to be duplicated, Obama must free his followers of housing, clothing and food responsibilities and have the power to execute anyone who criticizes his stimulus package.

Has he tested these waters?  By Executive Order, “closing down Gitmo and halting trials” may have been a step in that direction.  No Way!  Army Col. James Pohl, A military judge, rejected the executive order of January 22.  While, according to Navy Cmdr. Jeffrey Gordon:The Department of Defense is currently reviewing Judge Pohl's ruling," a clear message has been sent to the new commander in chief.

In just ten days the flight of the phoenix has stalled.  Our president has 90 days left to set his change in motion.
